catamaran anchored overnight Banderas Bay

An overnight catamaran charter in Puerto Vallarta is one of the most extraordinary experiences on Banderas Bay, anchoring in a secluded cove, watching the sunset from the deck, and waking up on the water surrounded by nothing but coastline and sea.

Available exclusively on the Lagoon 40’ and the Lagoon 42’, our overnight charters are fully private, fully crewed, and completely customizable. You decide when you leave, where you go, and how many nights you spend on the water. Our crew handles everything else, navigation, anchoring, dinner on board, and a full breakfast the following morning.

Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion, planning a romantic escape, or simply want an experience that most people never get to have, waking up on a catamaran anchored off a deserted beach in Mexico is something you’ll talk about for years.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many guests can sleep on board?

Up to 8 guests comfortably overnight. The catamarans have multiple private cabins, each with its own berth and bedding. For day charter capacity (without overnight), both boats accommodate up to 12 guests.

Is it safe to sleep on a catamaran at anchor?

Very safe. Catamarans are exceptionally stable at anchor due to their wide beam, far more so than monohull sailboats. Our crew chooses calm, sheltered anchorages and remains on board throughout the night.

Can we choose where to anchor?

Absolutely. We’ll discuss your preferences before departure and suggest the best anchorages based on conditions and what you want to experience. Las Animas, Yelapa, and the southern coves are all popular choices.

Is food included?

Yes, dinner on Day 1 and breakfast on Day 2 are both included. All food, water, sodas, and juices are included throughout the charter. Alcoholic drinks are not included but you are very welcome to bring your own, we’ll keep everything cold on board.

How far in advance do I need to book?

Overnight charters book up quickly, especially during peak season (December–March and July–August). We recommend booking at least 2–3 weeks in advance. Contact us directly to check availability.

What is the cancellation policy?

A 50% deposit is required to confirm the booking and is non-refundable if you cancel. If we cancel due to weather or unforeseen circumstances, you’ll receive a full credit or reschedule at no cost.
